Greetings techies, it’s that time of the week again! Today’s App Of The Week is Ready Contact List. As always, I wouldn’t recommend an app that I didn’t use myself.

Personally, I’ve always thought the default People (contacts) list on Android was not only ugly, but dull. It doesn’t have any handy features built in, and it’s just a boring list of people (who also may be boring). There are a plethora of contact apps out there, and just as many phone dialer apps. And then there are the apps that combine the two into one, and this is the category that Ready Contact List appears.

Ready Contact List is an app for Android that combines your contact list with your dialer. Similar to Facebook Messenger’s Chat Heads, Ready has a minimal Call Bubble that pops up whenever you receive a call or make a call. The app has recently left Beta status and jumped to version 2.0

Highlights Of Ready Contact List 2.0

  • Material redesign
  • Third party app integrations: send messages and start calls on WhatsApp, Viber and Messenger right from inside your contact list
  • Call Bubble: a chathead-like companion for making and managing calls anywhere

Ready Contact List is a very handy app with a beautiful design. When someone calls you, the app displays a recent history of the caller, and when you hang up, Ready gives you shortcuts, so you can easily save unknown contacts. The main screen of the app has a Favorites list and a Call History.

The app is free, with in-app purchases. If you don’t want to spend money, Ready has an interesting solution: you get assigned a code, and each paid feature can be unlocked by sharing the app, and you get points when other people use your referral code in their app, or by entering the download URL you provided.

Pro Features

  • Themes & Colors with both light and dark themes
  • Predictive Dialer so you can find people by company, URL, nickname, etc.
  • Ringtone Pack filled with awesome ringtones
  • Ad-Free

The developers of Ready have been kind enough to send us 10 app codes for 10 Pro Accounts. To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment below. The contest ends Sunday, May 10 at 11:59 EST. To make it fun, comment your thoughts on Jared Leto’s Joker. Love him or hate him, tell me your thoughts! Personally, if we’re going on appearances, I think he looks like Marilyn Manson with the metal teeth.
