While many head out on vacation to get a much needed break from work and the world, technology has found a way to make the trip with you thanks to the ease it can bring to your life. While primitive accessories for your phone or tablet consisted mostly of cases or other cosmetic add-ons, travel technology has come a long way in the last few years. In an attempt to find out what some travel pros favorite high tech tools were I spoke with JustFly, an online travel agency. They had three very different pieces of tech that came highly recommended.
A bag that is smarter than any other, the Bluesmart Carry-On is a cut above. Built with Bluetooth technology in mind, the Bluesmart Carry-On allows bag users to track their luggage, lock their bags, and receive proximity alerts in the event you leave your bag behind or it’s stolen. All of this is done using the Bluesmart’s accompanying app that communicates with the bag to make all these awesome features possible. In addition to these great features, you are able to charge your phone or tablet inside the bag using it’s built in USB charger.
Need a quick charge but your out in the wilderness? Solartab is the charger for you. While solar chargers are starting to become more and more popular, Solartab was the top choice according to JustFly’s review. Almost the same dimensions as an iPad Air, the Solartab features over 13,000 mAh battery capacity. It is able to charge two devices at once, including tablets. JustFly says the Solartab is perfect for a beach day, a hiking trip, or a camping trip.
Intel Compute Stick
Sick of carrying around your laptop? The Intel Compute Stick is exactly what you are looking for. Using the Compute Stick you are able to turn any HDMI television or display into a work station, media player, or Netflix streamer. That’s because the Compute Stick is a PC the size of a large jump drive. All you need is a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and your Compute stick, which comes loaded with Windows 10, are ready to get to work.
